In line with President Tinubu’s renewed agenda for technological advancement, the Nigerian Communications Satellite Limited (NIGCOMSAT) held its 2024 All Hands Strategy Staff-Management Retreat from November 26th to 27th, 2024, at Bolton White Hotels, Wuse, Zone 7.

The retreat was convened under the leadership of Mrs Nkechi Jane Egerton-Idehen, who was appointed as NIGCOMSAT’s Managing Director in 2023. With a track record as the former Country Manager and Regional Sales Director for West Africa at Avanti Communications Group PLC, she has taken decisive steps to reposition the organisation for enhanced service delivery, customer satisfaction, and operational efficiency.

The two-day strategic retreat, facilitated by Melange Associate and Consulting Ltd, provided a platform for staff and management to re-evaluate current strategies, tackle operational challenges, and explore innovative solutions to strengthen NIGCOMSAT’s performance. Discussions centred on the company’s long-term objectives, key performance improvements, and strategies to maintain its leadership in Nigeria’s satellite communications sector.

The event reinforced NIGCOMSAT’s commitment to technological innovation, improved service delivery, and national digital transformation, aligning with the federal government’s vision for Nigeria’s tech-driven future.
